Jason Goldy joined Alliant in June 2020. Prior to joining Alliant, Jason was Associate General Counsel at American International Group and served as Senior Litigation Counsel. Jason represented AIG in class action and commercial insurance litigation in state and federal court and before arbitration panels, and devised and oversaw execution of case strategy, settlement negotiations, and trial strategy.  Jason was also a Senior Associate at the international law firms Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Sidley Austin LLP. Jason represented financial institutions, corporations, and high net worth individuals in complex commercial litigation, class actions and arbitrations.

Jon Gilbert leads Alliant’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He has over 15 years of experience serving Private Equity firms and the M&A community.   In addition to due diligence expertise, Jon has led insurance procurement initiatives for private equity firms nationwide, with a focus on reducing expense and increasing liquidity. Jon has worked with insurance markets to develop one-off risk transfer solutions to solve client issues, including insuring against breaches of representations & warranties and other contingent liabilities.  In addition, Jon has placed over $70 million representations & warranties premium in the marketplace, and frequently host seminars on latest trends in representations & warranties insurance.  He has also written several white papers and articles which have been featured in Buyouts; Wall Street Journal; Acquisition International; the Daily Deal and other publications.
